Dunn played well throughout and was hard to stop at all times. Bill Dinning with two goals in the third period was a major factor in putting the Londoners away for good.

Hamilton's front line with Nichol at centre, flanked by McLean and Riley also played a strong game for the Bees, while goalie Lee looked good in net. London's best was Rankin, an effective checker and goalie Neilson who kept the score from being in double figures as the Pats dominated throughout.Litzen scored the first goal in period one on a pass from Baker. In the second period, Red Dunn banged in a rebound from a McLean hard shot to give the Pats a 2-0 lead after two periods. In the third period the Pats exploded for four goals to make the game a blowout. Dinning and Mclean scored early in the period both on passes from Dunn. The Spectator headline on Feb.20 read lineup

"Pats Soundly Beaten In Second Encounter"

"Drop 7 to 1 Verdict and Round to Kitchener-Waterloo Green Shirts"

The Nats, led by three counters by "honey" Kuntz and outstanding play from goalie Berner, dominated the match throughout, winning the series by a 12-4 score.
Kuntz, Mackie and Dunbrook provided outstanding play for the home team, while Nichol, Baker and Oliver battled unsuccessfully to get the Patricias on the scoreboard. They were thwarted by both the goaler Berner and the superior play of the homesters. They poured in five counters before the Pats notched their lone marker. Indeed it was late in the third period when the Pats scored their lone marker when Nichol batted in Dunn's pass. This was followed by two more goals by Kitchener late in the period to gain a well-deserved 7-1 victory. This eliminates the Pats with the Kitchener squad moving on to the next round in the Ontario playoffs.
